Children's Ministry

First Lutheran runs a Sunday School in the fellowship hall on Sundays at 9am! There are group classes and activities geared towards children of both 3-12 years old and 12-16 years old, so come along, meet new friends and have fun while you learn!



Youth Confirmation classes are also available. Please contact Pastor Jeremy



During the summer, the church also takes part in the Ecumenical Vacation Bible School in Centerville. Keep an eye on our Facebook page for further details as summer draws near!

Dorcas Ruth Circle

The Dorcas Ruth Circle is a ministry of WELCA (the Women of the ELCA)

As a community of women created in the image of God, called to discipleship in Jesus Christ, and empowered by the Holy Spirit, we commit ourselves to grow in faith, affirm our gifts, support one another in our callings, engage in ministry and action, and promote healing and wholeness in the church, the society, and the world.

Dorcas Ruth ladies meet at the church on the third Thursday of the month  from 1pm - 3pm. All are welcome!


Quilting

First Lutheran Quilters meet on Tuesday mornings from 9:30 to 12 noon. 

Anyone is welcome! There are jobs for all skill levels.

Quilts are made for Lutheran World Relief (LWR).

LWR distributes quilts all over the world, wherever there is need.
